Dance theatre in rehearsal light, student portraits and reportages from the Badenfahrt: the work of Alex Spichale Fotografie from Baden moves between stage, portrait and documentary reportage. Spichale photographs stage productions such as "IKARUS, stirb oder flieg", "Bolero", "Sibilla" or "Flamencos en route", including work for tanz & kunst Königsfelden. Added to this are on-location portraits and student photography for the Aargau secondary schools. In the reportage field, series such as "versus Badenfahrt 2017", a documentation of an asylum shelter, the project "Thai Christmas Trees" and a reportage on the Bäderhotel Verenahof have emerged. The range thus extends from the staged single image to the narrative photo series. Spichale combines closeness to the stage with a documentary eye, working both for institutions and independent cultural projects. The studio is organised as a GmbH and based in Aargau.
