In summer 2024, Anja Wild redesigned the underpass at Altdorf railway station. The project was commissioned by SBB Immobilien in Zürich and showcases the graphic designer's core strengths. Anja Wild Grafik works at the interface of design and orientation in public spaces. One key focus is signaletics – the conception of wayfinding and orientation systems. She also takes on classic graphic design work and creates illustrations. Designing templates for Word and PowerPoint is part of the offering as well. The overall presentation is sober and project-focused. Rather than lengthy self-descriptions, concrete work takes centre stage. This makes the designer well suited to clients seeking design solutions with a functional purpose, such as signage for buildings or transport infrastructure. The railway underpass example brings both worlds together: visual design and practical wayfinding for people on site.
