Automatico StudioDesign and branding in Biel

At the graphic design studio Automatico Studio in Biel/Bienne, visual identities take shape ranging from banking to art projects. The studio was responsible for, among others, the identity and annual report of Zarattini & Co Bank, the visual appearance and packaging for unternehmen mitte, and the signage system for Audemars Piguet. The work spans art direction, editorial design, branding and spatial design. Cultural clients strongly shape the portfolio: Automatico designed the Cahiers d'artistes over several years, and worked for EPFL, Théâtre Vidy and the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich. The magazine Tracés and its covers are also part of this. More recent projects combine design with artificial intelligence, such as the publication Neural Scapes and the visual identity for the Applied Machine Learning Days 2025. The range thus spans from classic editorial design to experimental, technology-driven work.
