Photography from Bern, placing personal series and commissioned work side by side on equal terms. Beat Schweizer works from Federweg in Bern's Holligen neighbourhood. His personal projects revolve around landscape, architecture and nature, covering subjects such as mountain worlds, shorelines or the frost line. Alongside these, reportages such as The Search or NYC take shape. For commissioned work, clients include museums, architecture and construction firms as well as cultural institutions. These include the Museum für Kommunikation, Labor Spiez and the SIA. A dedicated shop complements the digital work with printed pieces. The publication Early Open Fire was released most recently. The focus lies on a calm, documentary visual language that moves between free artistic work and a precise commissioned perspective.
