Bienvenue Design Studios GmbHDesign and branding in Zürich

Nature as a source of inspiration lies at the heart of Bienvenue Studios, an intercultural graphic design duo from Zürich. Xiaoqun Wu and Oliver Hischier combine commissioned design work with their own independent design products. Their approach is called biophilic design: natural phenomena are researched and translated into graphic editions. On the commissioned side, their services include branding, print and web design, as well as spatial visual worlds with colour concepts, image staging and signage. Alongside this, they create limited-edition prints, postcards, notebooks and art books, complemented by displays and textiles such as scarves, silk scarves and T-shirts. The studio's work has been recognised on several occasions. It won the MBAL Award for emerging artists in contemporary print and reached the final stage of the design competition for the new Swiss banknote. It has also run a pop-up store with Luiban in Berlin and collaborated with WWF Switzerland.
