A deep-rooted passion for typography runs through the projects of this Aarau design collective, founded in 2001 on Rathausgasse. Fabio Mazzara as Managing Director and Art Director Sven Fischer are responsible for consulting, concept and design; external specialists are brought in for specialised tasks, as the team sees itself as “small but select”. The range spans from branding and corporate identity to concept development and print design – posters, flyers, publications, labels and packaging – and also includes web design as well as exhibition design and scenography. What sets the studio apart is a direct, personal and uncomplicated exchange with clients, combined with the ambition to solve tasks creatively, individually and, at times, in surprising ways. References come mainly from the canton of Aargau and include Aargauische Kantonalbank, the City of Aarau, the Bergsportschule Grischa and Circus Monti, as well as non-profit organisations and regional SMEs. Involvement with Forum BGM Aargau and support for local organisations round off the profile.
