About us
Dance theatre, fashion and performance form the artistic core of this Zürich-based photo and video work. Eva Joan Samson photographs portraits for companies as well as for musicians, artists and families, complemented by fashion, event and product photography as well as moving video portraits. The resulting imagery is intended for web, social media and print. A close relationship to stage and staging is characteristic: projects mentioned include a dance theatre piece, an appearance at Zurich Fashion Week and a participation in photoSCHWEIZ at the Kongresshaus. Clients also include corporate customers. The selection of images takes place via an online gallery, where pictures can be marked and commented on. An emotional visual language, a deliberate use of light and colour, and a passion for set design characterise the approach, which combines creative ambition with documentary precision.
