Advertising, portrait, reportage and architecture come together in the work of Sandro Mahler, a photographer active in Ticino. His portfolio ranges from commercial images for companies and products to documentary projects, some carried out abroad, in Guinea and Lima. It includes architecture and construction photography, portraiture, industrial services and social reportage, with particular attention to visual storytelling. Clients and collaborations include organisations such as Aziende Elettriche Ticinesi, the Xilema-Veragouth group and hospitality establishments. Alongside commissioned work, personal research and publications take shape, reflected in a volume dedicated to bridges. The result is an approach that combines technical rigour with a documentary eye, able to adapt to advertising communication as well as to the telling of people and places. The range of genres makes it possible to move from product images to environmental portraits without losing coherence.
