"Observe, listen, distil" – this is the principle behind Lukas Gähwiler's character-driven portrait and corporate films, produced under the label Lukas Film. Since 2009 he has worked as a freelancer based in Zürich, running his productions largely as a one-man operation from concept through to final edit. His services range from image and promotional films to recruiting videos and social media clips, as well as pure post-production and creative consulting. According to his website, full productions cost between CHF 2,000 and CHF 15,000, with a day of filming priced at CHF 1,500. When needed, Gähwiler brings in specialised experts. He also teaches at the Schule für Gestaltung Basel and serves as a jury member for the Edi-Award. His client list includes the likes of Swisscom, UBS, Swiss Life, Migros, SBB and Novartis. His work has been recognised with several awards, including Gold at the World Media Festival 2021.
