Nicolas Schopfer, born in Geneva in 1987, came to photography through professional inline skating. Since then, he has set up his studio in the historic Arcoop building in Acacias, Carouge, where he has worked for over ten years with the press, cultural institutions and advertising agencies. His eye ranges across varied registers: portrait, architecture, corporate, fashion, interior design, watchmaking and lifestyle. Work stays in London and Tokyo have enriched this approach. The collaborations mentioned give a sense of his network: agencies such as Havas, Cavalcade and Marvil56, design houses Teo Jakob and Coral Studio, as well as the Geneva University Hospitals, the City of Geneva and HEAD. His images have appeared in Le T, l'Illustré, Bilan and the New York-based Paper Magazine. A photographic signature rooted in Geneva, yet open to the world.
