Based in Bern, Raffael Waldner photographs for clients such as Bühler, Siegfried, Nobel Biocare, BKW and Basler Kantonalbank. His focus areas are architecture, portrait, corporate and industrial photography, as well as reportage and documentary projects. He documents residential, commercial and institutional buildings, creates visual worlds for annual reports and photographs people, including musicians. His assignments have taken him far beyond Switzerland: work has been produced in Germany, Portugal, Italy, China, India, Denmark, Spain, the USA, Japan, Mozambique and Malta. His images have appeared editorially in Tages-Anzeiger, Die Zeit, Monocle, Weltwoche, Beobachter, Bloomberg, Zeit Magazin and Spiegel Wissen. Through JRP Ringier and Codax Publishers, he has also published monographs and artist's books. His studio is located at Aarbergergasse 40 in Bern.
