Architecture is at the heart of Samuel Büttler's photographic work. Based in Central Switzerland, he documents buildings and interiors with a precise eye for form and light. His focus lies on architecture, interior and corporate photography, complemented by staff portraits and independent landscape series. Projects have taken him to regions such as Obwalden, Nidwalden, Uri, the Lucerne area and the Engadin. Clients include architecture firms such as HTS Architekten and Burch & Partner Architekten, timber construction company Küng Holzbau AG, as well as institutional clients such as the Canton of Nidwalden and Elektrizitätswerk Obwalden. Working with a Hasselblad medium-format camera, among other equipment, underlines his commitment to high image quality. The result: images that showcase both architecture and organisations to full effect.
