Severin Jakob has been working as a freelance photographer from Zürich since 2015, with a studio at Ankerstrasse 112 in Kreis 4. His focus lies on portraits, reportage and editorial work. He finds his appeal in the close observation of everyday scenes and in tracking down details. This gives rise to distinctive visual worlds. His work includes projects such as Haenyeo, a Swiss Road Trip, KOSMOS and the Juvent wind farm. His client list includes ABB, BKW Energie, EKZ, Georg Fischer, Mobiliar, SBB, Sika, Suva, Swiss Prime Site, Vontobel, VW Schweiz and Zürcher Kantonalbank. He also collaborates with design agencies such as Raffinerie, Contexta, Noord and Heyday. Severin Jakob is co-founder of Weissgrad Edition Print and part of the collective Jakob und Bertschi.
