Wherever people need to find their way around buildings and sites, Signito comes into play. Founded in 2012 by Irene Stutz, the studio based in the Zürich area plans wayfinding and orientation systems for complex buildings. Stutz is a signage specialist and accompanies projects from analysis through concept to implementation. Alongside architectural signage, the studio also creates communication design, branding, corporate design and websites. Digital signage and tailored design standards are also part of the offering. Clients include public institutions, educational buildings, infrastructure projects and corporate properties throughout Switzerland. Production is handled by external partners, with only prototypes made in-house. The reference list is demanding: Zürich Airport, the swisstopo app, Kindergarten Looren, the Murten town library, Dübendorf airfield and the University Hospital Zürich. Function and design clarity always go hand in hand.
