Stefano Spinelli is a contemporary photographer active in Switzerland, working at the intersection of personal research and commercial photography, under the motto «beyond the image, reality». His work unfolds across recognisable projects, each with its own theme. «Corpo a corpo» documents the world of Thai boxing, while «Lo sguardo abissale» gathers portraits of survivors of Second World War concentration camps, and «Linea Cadorna» traces the fortifications of the Great War. Landscape recurs in «De finibus terræ», dedicated to the coasts of Salento, and in Swiss series such as «Intrusioni» in Castelrotto and «Fuori campo» in Neggio. Travel runs through «Transizioni», shot between Israel and Jerusalem, and «Il viaggio dell'artista», a collection of self-portraits in European cities.
