Behind Atelier Guido Köhler & Co. is a graphic designer and scientific illustrator based in Basel. Köhler founded his design and illustration studio in 1993, after training at the Schule für Gestaltung Zürich. He specialises in medium to large projects encompassing graphic products of all kinds. His work covers science, technology, education and sustainability, with a focus on medical illustration and educational visualisation. His range of services goes well beyond design alone. Köhler handles project management, budget planning and cost studies, as well as scheduling and meeting facilitation. This is complemented by copywriting, editorial coordination, material selection and support through print and production. Special tasks such as VR or programming in PHP and JavaScript are also part of the offering. Work is carried out in German, English and Italian.
